Parts and Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Receives all packages slated for our business operation. Determines who the shipment is for and logs it in our RIMSS inventory tracking system if it is part of our service or repair operation. Distribute items not inventoried to end user within the building. Works with parts manager and clerks to group and organize parts in respective bins that are associated with service work order. Fills out parts requisition information with respective vendors. Alerts service writers that parts have been recorded and received. Ships parts and goods out via the most economical method base upon need and time to customer or vendors. Ships returned goods back to respective manufacturers in proper containers utilizing appropriate packing materials. Assist the parts manager with parts counter duties. Maintains a safe work environment and secures area before leaving at the end of day.

Service Technician

Owns and maintains own hand tools for performing repair and maintenance of equipment that is to be serviced, repaired or new equipment to be assembled. Repairs and maintains customer and company equipment per schedules assigned by service writers. Maintains a safe work environment and performs repair and maintenance per guidelines and safety standards established by product manufacturers. Diagnoses units for repair and establishes a list of parts and materials to make necessary repairs. Works with parts clerks when ordering correct repair parts for units requiring service and repair. Attends manufacturers' training classes as directed to learn new practices and procedures. Responsible for writing reports on equipment to document work performed and materials used to make repairs. May perform service work in the field when equipment is unavailable to be delivered to shop. Drives company vehicles and maintains records of usage for DMV reports. Tracks time for reporting and billing purposes.

  • Large Equipment Service Technician position available: Experience with large equipment including diesel engines and agriculture (AG) equipment required
  • Small Outdoor Service Technician position available: Experience with small outdoor power equipment/lawn and garden and hand tools required (chainsaws, weed trimmers, leaf blowers, etc.)
